We're now looking for a Transport Planning & Commercial Analyst to join our Commercial team – a key role focused on shaping and improving the bus network across East Yorkshire.
About the role: This is a varied and highly impactful role where you'll combine data analysis, planning, and commercial insight to help deliver services that meet customer needs and support business performance.
You'll play a key part in:
- Designing and improving bus timetables
- Analysing performance, passenger trends and revenue
- Supporting service changes and network development
- Working across teams to ensure services are efficient, deliverable, and customer-focused
What you'll be doing:
- Develop and maintain timetables and service schedules to improve reliability and efficiency
- Analyse customer demand, revenue, and operational data to identify opportunities and risks
- Support service reviews, network changes, and new routes, including preparing business cases
- Work closely with Operations and Engineering teams to ensure plans are practical and deliverable
- Monitor performance against KPIs and recommend improvements
- Contribute to reports and presentations for senior management
- Engage with local authorities and stakeholders where required
