This is a hands‑on supervisory role supporting the delivery of passive fire projects, particularly fire door installations and associated passive fire works.

The Passive Fire Site Supervisor will coordinate site activities, support installers and subcontractors, carry out surveys and inspections, deliver site briefings, maintain compliance records and support quality handovers.

The successful candidate will ideally come from a carpentry or fire door installation background and have practical knowledge of social housing, occupied properties, passive fire compliance and customer care.

  • Minimum Qualifications
  • SSSTS.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • CSCS Card appropriate to the role.
  • Carpentry background.
  • Certified fire door installation experience.
  • Understanding of passive fire protection principles.
  • Knowledge of Building Regulations and fire safety requirements.
  • Understanding of health and safety requirements on construction sites.
  • Experience using Joblogic or similar digital reporting systems.
  • Understanding of Golden Thread requirements and evidence collection.

  • Support access arrangements and customer care requirements.
  • Carry out fire door surveys and installation quality inspections.
  • Record photographs, inspection findings and project information using Joblogic and company systems.
  • Support Golden Thread evidence requirements.
  • Assist with quality inspections and project handovers.
  • Raise issues relating to quality, safety, programme or access.
  • Support RAMS, CPPs, COSHH assessments and Site Documentation.
  • Attend team meetings and client meetings where required.
  • Support audits and accreditation inspections.
  • Promote safe working practices and quality workmanship.
  • Uphold EWC values and standards at all times.
