Job overview
We are looking to for a Band 3 Clinical Support Worker to join our team. Hospital experience is desirable but not essential.
Cookson Attenborough Ward is a busy elective Orthopaedic Ward. Looking for someone to join our friendly and supportive team to work along side trained nurses, to provide a high standard of pre and post operative care.
We will provide a supportive atmosphere and clinical supervision and encourage professional development. Team working is an integral part of this unit with all staff enabled and empowered to make a real difference for their patients.
Main duties of the job
To support the Matron and Sisters/charge nurses in maintaining an efficient and effective service. Delivering safe patient care within an environment that promotes a responsive approach to changing healthcare needs.

- National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 2 in Health and Social Care OR an acceptable, alternative Level 2 Qualification
- Satisfactory General Education and Evidence of additional training relevant to role

Experience
Essential criteria
- 6 Months experience (current) in a Health or Social Care Environment

- Three months (within the last two years) experience of working in NHS

- Ability to provide basic written reports following care giving episode/event
- Ability to use basic physiological recording equipment and accurately record findings
