Hours of work: 29.6 per week. Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service). As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata.

We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at Pevensey & Westham CE Primary School. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced teaching assistant. The role is intended to be flexible and will involve supporting individuals, small groups and some whole class support. The applicant will need to be adaptable, able to show initiative and have the confidence to work independently or as part of a team. You will have a desire to see every child flourish and reach their potential. Experience in Key Stage 1 or EYFS is desired.

Salary: Single Status Pay Scale: Grade 4. Salary Range: £25,185- £25,583 (pro-rata). Hours: 29.6 hours per week 8.30 – 15:10 (30 minutes for lunch/15 minute break) Monday – Friday. Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only.

The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations. If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
