Do you want to make a positive difference to the lives of older people and adults with learning disabilities? Joining the Transport Hub as a Relief Driver can enable you to do just that.
As a relief driver, you’ll play an essential role in supporting our core driver teams to provide safe, reliable transport using our fleet of modern, wheelchair accessible minibuses. Whether you’re stepping in to provide short-notice emergency cover, or covering a planned holiday absence, you’ll be instrumental in keeping the wheels rolling and ensuring our passengers can access the care they need.
We are looking for candidates who
- Are caring, supportive, and understanding of the needs of older people, disabled people, and those with learning disabilities
- Are able to communicate effectively with passengers and colleagues
- Are committed to the principles of safe driving, and understand how driving styles may affect passenger comfort
- Hold a full, clean UK driving licence with category D1
