Would you like to use your adult safeguarding knowledge and experience in a different way? Would you like to use that experience to manage a small, dynamic triage team to ensure adults in East Sussex are safeguarded against abuse and neglect? If so, a role in Health and Social Care Connect as a Practice Manager may be a rewarding role for you.

You would need to be a qualified and registered social worker with a comprehensive working knowledge of safeguarding policy, procedure and legislation. You would have professional oversight of the concerns coming into the safeguarding triage hub; triaging and analysing complex cases and providing support and guidance to the team.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have good working knowledge and experience of safeguarding policy and procedure
  • Are self-motivated and have good problem solving skills
  • Are able to deal with competing priorities in a fast paced environment

This is an office based role, the team operates Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm and you would be working in a small dedicated team within the larger Health and Social Care Connect Service. As this work is focussed on screening and triage it does not involve ongoing case management and case holding.
