Little PAWS Nursery School is expanding! We are looking to recruit 2 nursery practitioners. Our learning environment is characterised by a balanced blend of adult-led and child-led experiences, fundamentally guided by the principle that children learn best through play. We are looking to recruit 1 x full time, full year nursery practitioner and 1 x part time, term time only practitioner working in our expanding setting for 0-4 year olds.
We are seeking motivated individuals who are passionate about working in early years education. Experience within early years and a strong understanding of the EYFS framework is desirable. Enthusiasm and a commitment to nurturing young learners are essential as you play a pivotal role in their development and enjoyment of learning. You will need to have an appropriate Level 3 nursery qualification.

Qualified practitioner starting salary: Grade 3 £24,796 (pay award pending). Full time post involves shift patterns ranging between 7.20 – 18.10, Monday – Friday, option to work a 4 day week if preferred. Full year, job share / flexible working opportunities available (minimum annual leave of 4.9 weeks plus bank holidays). Part time post is term time only starting at 14 hours a week. 07.50-15.10 days are negotiable.
Pevensey & Westham CEP School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All staff will be expected to obtain an enhanced DBS Certificate with the Local Authority. In addition, as part of the shortlisting process we will carry out an online search as part of our due diligence on the shortlisted candidates.
