If so, you could be the perfect fit for our Triage Officer role in the Employment and Skills team at East Sussex County Council.
As a Triage Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for enquiries, completing initial assessments, managing referrals, updating key systems, and working closely with partners and participants to allocate them to the right service. You’ll help keep processes running smoothly while maintaining excellent communication and accurate records.
The role is fixed term until 31 March 2029.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Can manage and organise varied workloads, working confidently to short deadlines.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of people.
- Provide excellent customer service with empathy and professionalism.
- Have strong IT skills, including Microsoft 365 and database systems.
- Understand data protection and maintain confidentiality at all times.
