As a Senior Consultant managing the Local Support Team, you will play a key role in delivering reliable, high quality ICT services to schools and partner organisations. Working at the heart of customer environments, you will combine hands on technical expertise with leadership and problem solving to resolve complex issues, support service improvement and ensure technology works when it matters most.

This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You will lead the response to challenging incidents, shape how services are delivered, and help develop a skilled team, all while making a direct impact on services that support communities across East Sussex.

The role is responsible for leading the delivery of on site ICT support services, ensuring systems remain available, reliable and aligned to customer needs. It involves managing priorities, overseeing day to day service performance and handling complex technical issues that require specialist knowledge. The post holder also contributes to improving processes and services, supports projects, and works closely with stakeholders to ensure technology effectively enables service delivery.

We are looking for candidates who has:

  • Proven ability to deliver and lead high quality ICT support in a complex environment
  • Technical expertise with the ability to resolve complex issues and act as an escalation point
  • Effective leadership and organisational skills, including planning workloads and supporting team performance
  • Communication and stakeholder management skills, with a clear focus on customer service and continuous improvement
