You will work at the forefront of system-wide change, bringing together public services, voluntary organisations and community partners, to design and deliver services that truly meet local needs. You’ll take ownership of complex commissioning programmes, using insight, innovation, and strong relationship management to maximise social value and improve outcomes. This role offers real influence, with the chance to shape priorities, drive collaboration, and ensure resources are used effectively to support resilient individuals and thriving communities across East Sussex.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Commissioning expertise - including outcomes-based and collaborative approaches
  • Experience of commissioning processes and service redesign
  • Communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills across diverse partners and audiences
  • Ability to manage complex projects, budgets and competing priorities while delivering on time and to high standards
  • Confidence using data and insight to drive decision-making and service improvement
