Are you ready to make a real, positive impact on our families in East Sussex? If you are, we are seeking a Business Support Assistant (Finance) to join our busy Locality Social Work, Business Support Team in Children\’s Services.
This role will support the busy Social Work teams with all aspects of finance and procurement in the West of East Sussex. You will be processing invoices, raising purchase orders, issuing petty cash and travel tickets and completing reconciliations. You will also hold a company credit card to further support with online purchases and have daily use of our financial system – Oracle.

The role is solely office based to enable the support of the teams.

Initial training will be based at St Mary\’s House, Eastbourne.

This is a post requires you to work across two sites: St Marys House in Eastbourne (2 days per week: Tuesday & Thursday) and at County Hall in Lewes (3 days per week: Monday, Wednesday & Friday).

- Are able to manage a busy workload
- Are confident with both lone and team working
- Have a high standard of numeracy skills to meet the job requirements
- Have the ability to collect and interpret information and data to prepare reports
- Have a working knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing and financial applications
