Do you want to start your career in business administration while making a real difference to people’s lives? Are you organised, enthusiastic and keen to learn, with an interest in supporting employment and skills programmes?

If so, you could be the perfect fit for our Level 3 Business Administration Apprentice within the Employment and Skills team at East Sussex County Council.
As a Business Administration Apprentice, you’ll kickstart your career while making a real difference, supporting programmes that help people into work and learning, gaining hands-on experience and building your skills. As Business Admin Apprentice, you will:

  • Provide administrative support while developing practical business administration skills in a real work environment
  • Learn how to coordinate activities and communications across the ESTAR team and partner organisations
  • Support programmes that help young people and adults access work, training and learning opportunities
  • Gain experience in maintaining accurate records, data and documentation to support team delivery
  • Work alongside experienced colleagues across departments, building skills and knowledge as part of your apprenticeship development

We are looking for candidates who:

  • have good IT skills and can create clear, professional documents
  • can organise their work and manage their time effectively
  • are accurate when entering and checking information, with good attention to detail
  • communicate clearly and work well as part of a team
  • have a positive attitude and are willing to learn, take initiative and develop new skills
