Little Horsted is a successful small rural school situated just off the A26 near Uckfield. We are a happy school community, where children are encouraged to reach their full potential, in a caring Christian environment.
The Governors are seeking to appoint caring, enthusiastic and skilled Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our warm and nurturing school-based nursery, working primarily with our 2-year-old children for 2 days a week from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small, dedicated early years team committed to giving our youngest learners the very best start.
You will play a key role in supporting children’s early development, building secure relationships, and creating a safe, stimulating environment where every child can flourish.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality care and learning experiences for 2-year-olds in line with the EYFS.
- Build warm, trusting relationships with children and families.
- Support children’s personal, social, emotional, physical, and communication development.
- Contribute to planning, observations, and assessments.
- Work collaboratively with the Early Years and wider school team.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment at all times.
- Uphold the school’s Christian ethos and values in daily practice.
