About the role

We are looking to appoint a motivated Teacher of Music and Art to join our vibrant and creatively driven department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong subject knowledge and a passion for the arts to inspire students and make a real impact within a supportive and ambitious school. Suitably qualified candidates may have the opportunity to take on Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR). You will join a highly collaborative team committed to delivering engaging, high-quality lessons and ensuring that all students develop strong creative, artistic, and musical skills. The arts are valued and popular within the school, and the department works closely together to continually refine the curriculum and share effective teaching practice.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for planning and delivering lessons in both Music and Art, assessing student progress, and supporting students to achieve their full potential. You will work alongside experienced colleagues to contribute to the ongoing development of the Music and Art curriculum and foster a culture of creativity, expression, and artistic exploration. We are looking for someone who can engage learners of all abilities, inspire a love of music and art, and bring enthusiasm and energy to the classroom. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities such as performances, exhibitions, clubs, and creative events.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and will demonstrate a clear commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.
