Are you an experienced data analyst who is looking to apply your skills in Adult Social Care and are you organised and able to support others whilst working in a busy environment managing competing demands? If so then the Market Intelligence Team would welcome your application.

As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst you can make a real difference to the Council’s understanding of the independent care market in East Sussex by analysing and reporting on a wide range of data and information. In this newly created role you will collate, interpret and disseminate a diverse range of complex data and information related to the independent sector and Supply Management activities, adding value and generating meaningful insight. You will also manage the time-critical monitoring of homecare call data, communicating and negotiating with providers to reconcile and improve accuracy of data, and supporting providers to encourage long-term behaviour change.

  • Have knowledge and experience of using Excel for data manipulation and analysis
  • Are able to identify and resolve data quality issues
  • Have excellent data visualisation and report building skills
  • Are able to communicate effectively with a range of people in a clear, concise and accurate manner
