Do you want to be a part of a busy, dynamic, administration team supporting Social Workers making a difference to children and families in East Sussex? If so, you may be interested in our Senior Business Administrator role.

Our Senior Business Administrators have a key role providing administrative support to Social Workers within Locality Children's Services. The role is fast-paced and varied: it includes telephone contact with professionals and clients, email communication, minute taking of strategy meetings which can be complex, as well as other administrative tasks. Full training and support will be given to ensure your success in the role. Once fully trained, hybrid working can be offered.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • The ability to minute and produce accurate records of meetings
  • Knowledge of using email and software such as the Microsoft Office Suite with a good understanding of managing calendars and setting up MS Team calls
  • The ability to communicate effectively to a range of people, including the ability to converse at ease with customer and provide advice in accurate spoken English
  • The ability to exercise discretion in dealing with sensitive information to maintain strict confidentiality where appropriate
  • The ability to undertake research and learn new information quickly in a self directed way
