Are you ready to be part of a modern, innovative, and customer-focused Facilities Management team? We are looking for a Facilities Assistant to support the delivery of Facilities Management services at one of our corporate hubs in Eastbourne. In this exciting and varied role, you will act as the first point of contact for Facilities Management enquiries within a fast-paced, supportive team. This front-of-house, customer-facing position involves providing a professional welcome to staff, visitors, and contractors, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the building. No two days will be the same.

This varied and hands-on role will involve supporting the day-to-day running of the site, helping to ensure a safe, secure and well-maintained working environment for staff and visitors. Responsibilities will include:

  • Carrying out routine premises inspections
  • Reporting maintenance issues
  • Liaising with contractors
  • Providing reception cover when needed
  • Assisting with deliveries and post

The role will also involve undertaking basic handyperson duties including minor repairs, furniture moves and office moves, supporting wider Facilities colleagues and occasionally working at other corporate hub locations when required. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their experience within Facilities Management, offering a broad range of responsibilities and exposure to different aspects of site operations and customer service.

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have a Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence or willingness to undertake and obtain
  • Are a team player
  • Have communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer care
  • Have IT skills and the ability to use spreadsheets
  • Have the ability to meet the travelling requirements of the role
