We are seeking a Children Missing in Education (CME) Reintegration Support Assistant to join the Team Around the School and Setting (TASS), part of the innovative Education Division of Children’s Services.

The primary focus of the role will be to undertake direct work with children, educational settings and families to support improved outcomes for children and young people with additional needs. We are looking for a skilled practitioner with a genuine interest in this area, who is experienced in working within an educational setting to support attendance and engagement with learning. • Assessing individual needs and monitoring progress against desired outcomes
  • Applying a wide range of approaches to work with children and families, including those with SEND
  • Ensuring that all work delivered to settings is in line with the wider aspirations of the Education Division and exploits opportunities for integrated working with partners at every opportunity
  • Identifying work priorities and managing your own workload to meet deadlines
  • Communicating complex information clearly and confidently, orally and in writing, to a range of audiences
