Claverham Day Nursery is looking for enthusiastic and caring qualified Nursery Assistants to join our friendly and supportive team. We are seeking dedicated practitioners who hold an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education (or an equivalent qualification) and share our passion for supporting young children to thrive.
The successful candidate will:
- Be an enthusiastic and skilled Early Years practitioner, able to engage children through a wide range of creative, play-based activities that support their physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
- Work closely with the supervisor to create an exciting, purposeful learning environment.
- Act as a key person, building strong, caring relationships with children and maintaining positive communication with parents and carers.
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive EYFS team.
- Show a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Salary:
- Full-time (37 hours per week): Single Status Grade 3, Point 7 – £24,796 per annum.

Claverham Day Nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We expect all staff to share this commitment. The position is subject to an enhanced DBS check. This post is covered by the Childcare Disqualification Regulations 2018. The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations. If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
