The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Hours of work: 7 hours per week. Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years of continuous service). Fixed term: 12 months. Salary: pro rata.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver Forest School sessions and outdoor learning across the primary age range.
  • Plan progressive, child‑centred programmes.
  • Carry out risk assessments and site management.
  • Promote pupils’ wellbeing, independence and resilience.
  • Display excellent outdoor knowledge and behaviour management.
  • Be adaptable to work with different age groups.
  • Demonstrate relevant Forest School qualifications with up‑to‑date safeguarding and first aid knowledge.
  • Liaise with teachers and volunteers.
  • Manage resources and maintain the outdoor forest school site.
  • Work within school policy and guidance.
