Job Overview
Hours of work: 7 hours per week. Working pattern: Part-time, term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years of continuous service). Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver Forest School sessions and outdoor learning across the primary age range.
- Plan progressive, child‑centred programmes.
- Carry out risk assessments and site management.
- Promote pupils’ wellbeing, independence and resilience.
- Display excellent outdoor knowledge and behaviour management.
- Be adaptable to work with different age groups.
- Demonstrate relevant Forest School qualifications with up‑to‑date safeguarding and first aid knowledge.
- Liaise with teachers and volunteers.
- Manage resources and maintain the outdoor forest school site.
- Work within school policy and guidance.
