Alongside teaching, you’ll support learners as a personal tutor, helping them achieve their full potential in an inclusive and collaborative environment. This exciting role will include:
- Delivering across A Level Geography programmes, covering a range of topics including physical, human, and environmental geography.
- Providing pastoral support as a personal tutor, supporting students’ academic progress and wellbeing.
- Engaging and inspiring students through high-quality, inclusive, and student-centred delivery.
- Sharing your subject expertise, passion, and any relevant fieldwork or industry insight to bring learning to life.
If you can demonstrate the following, then we’d love to hear from you:
- Relevant experience – either within teaching or in a geography-related field (e.g. environmental management, urban planning, sustainability, or research).
- A strong commitment to delivering high-quality, student-centred teaching and learning.
- A relevant degree in Geography or a closely related discipline.
- Teaching experience within Further Education is desirable but not essential.
- Experience or interest in delivering topics such as climate change, sustainability, or fieldwork would be highly advantageous.
