This exciting role will include:
- Delivering across a range of Applied Science programmes, including BTEC Applied Science, with opportunities to contribute to specialist areas such as Marine Science & Environmental Science.
- Providing pastoral support as a personal tutor, supporting students’ academic progress and wellbeing.
- Engaging and inspiring students through high‑quality, inclusive, and student‑centred delivery.
- Sharing your subject expertise, passion, and any relevant industry insight to bring learning to life.
If you can demonstrate the following, then we’d love to hear from you:
- Relevant experience – either within teaching or in a science‑based industry (e.g. applied, environmental, forensic, or marine sectors).
- A strong commitment to delivering high‑quality, student‑centred teaching and learning.
- A relevant degree in a science‑related discipline.
- Teaching experience within Further Education is desirable but not essential.
- The ability or willingness to contribute to specialist areas such as marine, and/or environmental science would be highly advantageous.
