Team Leader – The King’s Trust Team Programme in Hastings

We are seeking an enthusiastic and inspiring Team Leader to deliver a life-changing personal development programme for young people. This exciting opportunity will see you lead and support groups of learners through a structured programme designed to build confidence, develop employability and life skills, and encourage positive progression into education, employment, training, volunteering, or apprenticeships.

As Team Leader, you will motivate, support and mentor young people aged 16-25, creating an engaging and inclusive learning environment where they can grow in confidence, develop new skills, and achieve their goals. Working closely with colleagues, employers, community partners and volunteers, you will play a key role in delivering a programme that has a lasting impact on the lives of young people across East Sussex.

This exciting role will include:

• Leading and delivering an engaging personal development programme that supports young people to build confidence, develop employability skills
• Recruiting, mentoring and supporting students throughout their journey, helping them overcome barriers and achieve their goals.
• Building effective partnerships with employers, community organisations and other stakeholders to create meaningful learning and work-based opportunities.
• Ensuring high-quality programme delivery, accurate record keeping, and a safe and supportive learning environment for all

If you can demonstrate the following, then we’d love to hear from you:

• Experience of working with young people in an education, training, youth work, mentoring or coaching environment.
• Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
• A commitment to safeguarding, equality, inclusion and supporting individuals to achieve their potential.
• A Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards this qualification.

Annual salary: Circa £30,300 FTE

(Subject to qualifications, skills and experience)

Hours:

Full time, 37 hours, 52.14 weeks, Permanent
