The role involves speaking to a wide range of people, mainly school leavers figuring out their next steps, but also adults looking to train, upskill, or learn for fun across our higher education and part-time courses. You’ll work as part of the marketing team to support how we attract and engage students across the college. In practice, a lot of your time will be spent working with local schools and supporting events, but you’ll always be part of the bigger recruitment picture. You’ll be joining a supportive team that values initiative, collaboration and fresh ideas, with the opportunity to shape and influence how recruitment activities are delivered.
What you’ll be doing:
- Engaging with prospective students, parents and schools to promote the college and its opportunities
- Helping people understand their options and feel confident about their next step
- Representing the college at events, in schools, at other colleges, and on campus
- Keeping things organised behind the scenes so events run smoothly
- Working with colleagues across marketing, curriculum, and the wider college to deliver successful recruitment campaigns
- Spotting what could be improved and getting stuck in to make it better

Annual salary: circa £29,900 per annum, subject to qualifications, skills and experience
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year
