Weβre looking for experienced carpentry professionals who are interested in potential hours at our Eastbourne campus, as we expand our provisions. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference, working with motivated learners and a supportive curriculum and apprenticeship team.

This exciting role will include:
- Delivering high-quality Carpentry teaching across a range of full-time study programmes.
- Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons that develop learners' technical skills and industry knowledge.
- Supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and prepare for progression into employment, apprenticeships, or further study.
- Monitoring learner progress and implementing effective strategies to support achievement and positive outcomes.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching, learning and assessment and contribute to curriculum development.

If you can demonstrate the following, then we'd love to hear from you:
- A Level 2 qualification in Carpentry or a related construction discipline. (Level 3 desirable.)
- Ideally at least 5 years' industry experience, demonstrating occupational competence within the carpentry and construction sector.
- Strong practical and technical knowledge of carpentry and current industry practices.
- A passion for developing the next generation of skilled tradespeople.
- Previous teaching, training or assessing experience is desirable; however, applications are welcomed from industry professionals looking to transition into education.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining high standards of learner experience and achievement.
- For many of our teaching roles, we welcome applications from candidates at any stage of their career, including industry professionals with no or limited teaching experience. We can offer teacher development and qualifications to support your success in teaching

College location: Based at our Eastbourne Campus.
Annual salary: Circa Β£32 - Β£45 per hour including holiday rate.
