Salary: £46,931 - £51,277 (Subject to qualifications, skills and experience)
Hours: Full time (37 hours/week)
We are looking for a passionate and experienced leader to take our English provision forward across the College Group. In this key role, you will lead and manage English delivery, ensuring high-quality teaching and strong outcomes for students across GCSE and Functional Skills. You will play a central role in driving achievement, attendance, progress and a positive learner experience. You will work closely with the Director of Learning (English and Maths) to develop a responsive and ambitious curriculum, support staff development, and use data and insights to continuously improve performance.
The successful candidate must have:
- Full Teaching qualification
- A demonstrable track record of improving success rates and standards
- Knowledge of current developments in the English curriculum within Further Education
- Experience of supervising staff
