In this exciting role, you will play a key part in delivering our T Level Health course, alongside Level 1, 2 and Level 3 NCFE Health and Social Care programmes. You’ll be fully supported by your Programme Manager, Coordinator, and Director of Learning, ensuring you have the guidance and resources to excel. Together, you’ll shape the student experience by teaching, leading, tracking, and monitoring learners, while also building strong employer links and contributing to the continued growth of our health provision. Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver learning programmes — design schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessments using diverse teaching methods and technologies.
- Support and guide students — act as a personal tutor, set learning targets, review progress, and promote high attendance.
- Assess and track progress — maintain accurate records of achievement, retention, and attendance, using e-registers and electronic ILPs.
- Contribute to quality improvement — take part in course reviews, team meetings, and internal verification to ensure high teaching standards.
- Promote inclusion and engagement — support learners with additional needs, uphold Equality & Diversity and Safeguarding, and engage in recruitment and college events.
The successful candidate will possess:
- A minimum of a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care, Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience delivering the relevant subject curriculum within a Further Education setting.
- Experience teaching the Health and Social Care T Level is highly desirable.
We may also be able to consider candidates with relevant training experience, to train up internally and support with a teaching qualification.
