We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Sports Coordinator to plan, deliver and coordinate a high-quality programme of sport, physical activity and fitness-based enrichment opportunities that enhance student engagement, wellbeing and participation across the college group. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about sport and student wellbeing to make a real difference.

You will play a key role in enhancing student engagement, attendance, and overall experience, using sport and physical activity as a powerful tool to support learners - particularly those who may be struggling with motivation, behaviour or attendance. From organising competitions and inclusive enrichment activities to supporting student transition into college life, this is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same.

  • Relevant qualification in youth work, education, wellbeing or willing to work towards one
  • Level 3 qualification in sports related personal training
  • Experience working with young people in an education, youth work or support setting
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection duties and procedures
