Responsibilities

In this busy and fast-paced role you will assist with the smooth running of the accounts payable function and provide general administrative support to the Finance team, with specific responsibilities for ensuring the timely and effective operation of creating and maintaining supplier accounts. In addition to this, you will prepare and process invoices, credit notes and support with raising departmental purchase orders. You will proactively support with the AP workflow and the processing of weekly payment runs.

Qualifications

  • Maths & English GCSE / Level 2 equivalent
  • Intermediate Excel/ MS office
  • Good knowledge of accounting procedures and double entry bookkeeping
  • Knowledge of month end procedures and basic understanding of purpose of monthly management accounts
  • Previous Purchase Ledger Experience is desirable
