Salary: £31,990 - £41,718.11 pro rata (subject to qualifications, skills, and experience)

Sessional rate: £35.73/hour (£29.78/hour + £5.96/hour as payment for annual leave)

Hours: Monday and Friday - 8:45 - 5 pm

Are you passionate about accounting and ready to inspire the next generation of finance professionals? We’re looking for an enthusiastic AAT Lecturer to join our team and deliver high-quality teaching across AAT Levels 2–4. This is a part-time role (2 full days per week), with exciting potential to grow. Additional sessional hours may be available as student numbers increase, offering the opportunity to build towards full-time hours.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective AAT lessons in accordance with the curriculum whilst assessing students’ progress and supporting them in their learning journey. Working closely with the Director of Learning and the rest of the team, you will have the chance to share your knowledge and skills with students to help them achieve at the highest level as well as driving continuous improvement within the College.

You will act as a personal tutor, giving pastoral care, promoting attendance, supporting students to attain suitable work placements, participating in team meetings and contributing to the planning, development and review activities within your subject area.

The successful candidate must have:

  • A teaching qualification at level 3
  • A level 4 AAT qualification (preferably a degree)
  • Previous, relevant FE teaching experience delivering on AAT courses
  • Relevant degree or equivalent industrial or professional qualification
  • Maths
