Salary: £18,167 - £22,880 (Subject to qualifications, skills and experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday (8:45 am - 5 pm)

Are you passionate about technology and looking to kick‑start your IT career? We are seeking two enthusiastic ICT Apprentices to join our IT Services team while working towards a Level 3 ICT Information Communications Technician qualification. In this role, you'll gain hands‑on experience providing first‑line IT support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting Microsoft 365 and other key systems, and delivering excellent customer service to staff and students.

Working closely with the Head of ICT Services, the ICT Manager and the rest of the ICT Team you will receive excellent training and mentoring which will develop your skillset, knowledge and experience required to build a successful career within ICT. Across the 18‑month apprenticeship scheme you will gain a real insight into ICT support function and the importance of providing a high standard of customer service to users across the entire College Group including both Curriculum and Support areas.

Whilst gaining this vital work experience, you will also spend one day of your working week completing self‑study that the College will support you to complete.

The successful candidate must:

  • A Level 3 qualification in an ICT-related subject
  • Hold Maths and English GCSE (grade C or above) or equivalent qualifications
  • An interest in IT and technology
  • Be willing to contribute effectively to the ICT support provided across the College
  • Have excellent communication skills
