We are currently looking to appoint two motivated and enthusiastic Facilities Leads to join our Facilities team across both of our college campuses in Redhill (East Surrey College) and Selsdon (John Ruskin College).
The purpose of this role is to contribute to the provision of first-class facilities for students and staff providing a safe, secure environment for students, staff and visitors. Using specialist multi skills in plumbing, carpentry or painting and decorating.
The Facilities Lead plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment by delivering a prompt and competent repair and maintenance service. Due to the nature of this role there may be a requirement at times to work out of doors in all weathers.
The successful candidate must have:
- Previous experience in a multi skilled tradesman or similar facilities role
- Experience of working within a busy and demanding environment
- A good knowledge of using online systems and Microsoft Words, Excel and Outlook
- NEBOSH qualification or currently working towards certificate is desirable
