We are currently seeking to appoint two inspirational and enthusiastic Facilities Lead to work in our Facilities department. The purpose of this role is to contribute to the provision of first-class facilities for students and staff, providing a safe, secure environment for students, staff and visitors. Using specialist multi skills in plumbing, carpentry or painting and decorating. The Facilities Lead plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment by delivering a prompt and competent repair and maintenance service. Due to the nature of this role there may be a requirement at times to work outdoors in all weathers.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver prompt and competent repair and maintenance service to maintain a safe environment for students, staff and visitors.
  • Work outdoors in all weathers as required by the role.
  • Contribute to providing first-class facilities in the campus environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a multi-skilled tradesman or similar facilities role.
  • Experience of working within a busy and demanding environment.
  • A good knowledge of using online systems and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Maths & English GCSE / Level 2 equivalent (achieved or willing to obtain).
  • NEBOSH qualification or currently working towards certificate is desirable.
