Salary: £38,942.75 - £41,718.11 depending on experience

Hours: Full time (37 hours/week) 08:45-17:00 Monday - Friday

We’re looking for a driven and ambitious Business Development Advisor to join our team and take our employer engagement to the next level.

As the first point of contact for employer and partnership enquiries, you will play a central role in identifying opportunities, engaging businesses, and delivering tailored training solutions that meet workforce needs. You will drive growth, develop partnerships, and support the expansion of our Adult Skills and Apprenticeship provision. This is a key role within the College, focused on developing sustainable, mutually beneficial relationships with employers while contributing to the promotion and ongoing success of our offer.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the first point of contact for employer and community partnership enquiries
  • Drive growth in sales and enrolments across Adult Skills and Apprenticeships
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and funding streams
  • Build and maintain relationships with local and national employers
  • Provide monitoring reports on the College’s employer related training activities
We are looking for someone who:
  • Has strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Is target-driven with a proven ability to generate business growth
  • Demonstrates commercial awareness and initiative
  • Is highly organised and confident using CRM systems/databases
  • Is passionate about supporting skills development and working with employers
  • Maths & English GCSE / NVQ Level 2 as a minimum (or willing to obtain)
