We are currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Lecturer to join our friendly LSK department, where you will be responsible for teaching and acting as a course lead. You will be delivering Foundation learning from entry 1 through to Level 1, teaching a mix of employability and/or independent living skills. You will be accountable for the planning and delivery of your designated programme, where you will plan lessons, and contribute to the development and review activities within your subject area. You will also be responsible for safeguarding, promoting attendance, participating in team meetings within your department and be expected to work effectively with others as part of a team.
The successful candidate must have:
- Extensive Teaching experience and engaging learners (ideally within an FE environment but not essential)
- Experience working with learners who haven't thrived in education.
- A teaching qualification (or be working towards one)
- Experience working within an FE based environment
- Excellent organization, IT and communication skills
- Maths & English GCSE at Grade C or above (or Level 2 equivalent)
