We are seeking an enthusiastic and organised Food Technician to support the delivery of our Life Skills curriculum. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside the Life Skills Lecturer, helping students develop practical cooking, nutrition, food hygiene, and independent living skills.
As Food Technician, you will play a key role in preparing and maintaining the learning environment for practical food sessions. You will support students in developing essential life skills through food preparation, cooking, healthy eating, and kitchen safety activities. If you are passionate about food, education, and helping learners develop valuable life skills, we would love to hear from you.
The successful candidate must have:
- Essential and up to date industry knowledge of Food Handling
- Practical/industry experience in Educational setting
- Experience of working with young people
- Maths & English GCSE / Level 2 equivalent
