Salary: £31,990 - £41,718 (subject to qualifications, skills, and experience)

Hours: Full time (37 hours/week) Monday – Friday 08:45-17:00

We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic T Level Lecturer with Mechanical Specialism to deliver teaching and assessing on Levels 3-4. Working closely with the Director of Learning and the rest of the Engineering team, you will have the exciting opportunity to share your knowledge and skills with learners to help them achieve at the highest level as well as driving continuous improvement within the College. You will act as a personal tutor, promote attendance, participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning, development and review activities within your subject area.

The successful candidate must have:

  • A full teaching qualification or currently working towards one
  • An Engineering Degree
  • Relevant industry experience or qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate students

It is also highly desirable that you hold the Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement and also desirable for you to also hold a Certificate/Award in Internal Quality Assurance (if old qualifications are held (e.g. A1 or V1) it is essential that you are willing to update to the new standards).
