We’re looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Sports Coordinator to plan, deliver and coordinate a high‑quality programme of sport, physical activity and fitness‑based enrichment opportunities that enhance student engagement, wellbeing and participation across the college group. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about sport and student wellbeing to make a real difference.

You’ll play a key role in enhancing student engagement, attendance, and overall experience, using sport and physical activity as a powerful tool to support learners—particularly those who may be struggling with motivation, behaviour or attendance. From organising competitions and inclusive enrichment activities to supporting student transition into college life, this is a varied, hands‑on role where no two days are the same.

Availability: We have full‑time and term‑time only + 3 weeks’ roles available. Please state your preference in your supporting statement.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Relevant qualification in youth work, education, wellbeing willing to work towards one Level 3 qualification in sports‑related personal training
  • Experience working with young people in an education, youth work or support setting
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection duties and procedures
