We’re looking for an exceptional IT 3rd Line Support Engineer to join our forward‑thinking team, someone who is passionate about technology, driven by innovation, and excited to play a key role in supporting digital transformation across our College Group.
This isn’t just another support role. You’ll be at the heart of our IT operations, driving improvements, influencing strategy, and ensuring the technology that powers teaching and learning runs seamlessly.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Act as the escalation point for complex IT issues
- Troubleshoot and deliver long‑term solutions
- Support and optimise on‑prem and cloud environments
- Maintain secure, stable, high‑performing systems
- Contribute to IT transformation, upgrades, and new technologies
- Support cybersecurity, patching, and compliance activities
The successful candidate must have:
- MCSE qualification or equivalent
- Computer based degree or equivalent in computer engineering or relevant field
- Significant experience in a 3rd line IT support or infrastructure support role
- 3rd line technical knowledge with excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
- Experience working within an education environment is desirable
- Maths & English GCSE / Level 2 equivalent
