Location: East Surrey College (Redhill)
Hourly Rate: £41.80/hour (£34.83/hour + £6.97/hour as payment for annual leave)
Hours: Tuesday 8:45 am - 5 pm but can be flexible on days
We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Level 4 Counselling Lecturer to join our Professional and Service Industries department. In this exciting role you will be delivering teaching and learning across our Counselling provision across Level 2-4. This is a specialised role and we would require someone who is ideally trained in SEG and has significant experience in research methods.
Working closely with the Director of Learning, Programme Manager and the rest of the team, you will have the chance to share your knowledge and skills with learners to help them achieve at the highest level as well as driving continuous improvement within the College. You will also act as a course leader, promote attendance, participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning, development and review activities within your subject area. It is also essential that you contribute to open evenings, parent’s evenings and similar events as and when required.
The successful candidate must have:
- A full teaching qualification (ideally at Level 5 or above but part qualified candidates will be considered)
- Previous teaching experience within an FE setting
- Counselling at level 4 or above
- Relevant industry experience
