We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual with excellent customer service and communication skills to join our Council as an Environmental Health Technical Support Officer (EHTSO) on a fixed term maternity cover contract for up to 12 months.

You will be one of our EHTSOs that carry out a range of administrative support duties based within the Environmental Services team. The Environmental Service Teams consists of Officers that respond to environmental concerns and complaints in relation to Environmental Protection, Food & Safety and Health & Safety.

Your duties will include receiving and processing incoming work arriving by email, telephone, and face to face interactions, with both internal and external customers. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining computer records using Uniform and other IT systems. This is an exciting opportunity to support our Environmental Service Team in delivering effective services across the area.
