We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Building Maintenance Team as a Capital Works Operational Lead.
Your role: You will manage the operational Building Maintenance Team to deliver an effective, efficient and compliant service to council tenants and private customers. This role focuses on the delivery of Capital works such as kitchens, bathroom and reroofing works and effective management of costs, risk, staff and equipment resources to ensure high levels of satisfaction, value for money and safe working practices are being achieved.
What You Will Need: You will have previous experience of managing and developing a team of staff and dealing with members of the Public and Council Tenants. You will have up to date knowledge of technical and procedural developments in a relevant field and hold good motivational skills, with ability to motivate a team to perform to their optimum ability. A HNC/HND equivalent in a building related discipline is essential, and an understanding of current building regulations and Health and Safety requirements.
