We are now looking for a talented and passionate Chef to join our team.

Job Description

As a Chef at Twelve Twenty, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to our customers' satisfaction.

You will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure that our menu is executed to the highest standard and that all food is presented in an attractive and appetising manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook dishes according to our menu and standards
  • Ensure that all food is cooked to the correct temperature and is of high quality
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient service
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen at all times
  • Monitor and manage food inventory to minimize waste and control costs
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
  • Collaborate with the management team to create new and innovative menu items
  • Take responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef in a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Creativity and passion for food
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Relevant culinary degree or certification is a plus
