About the Role:
We’re looking for a QHSE Administrator to support the implementation and maintenance of the company’s Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental management systems. The role also provides direct administrative and operational support to the QHSE Director, assisting with compliance activities, reporting, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure company operations meet legal, regulatory, and internal standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide varied administrative support to the QHSE Director.
- Maintain and update QHSE documentation, policies, procedures, and records.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and follow up on corrective actions.
- Record and track incidents, near misses, hazards, and non-conformances.
- Prepare QHSE reports, statistics, presentations, and performance data for the QHSE Director and senior management.
- Support risk assessments and method statement administration.
- Monitor training records and arrange employee QHSE training where required.
- Assist with inspections, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
- Maintain document control systems and ensure records are accurate and up to date.
- Support ISO management systems administration (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, BRC Packaging).
- Assist with customer and supplier compliance documentation.
- Support the QHSE Director with projects, meetings, action tracking, and departmental administration.
- Awareness and adherence to the company’s hygiene, quality, health and safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous administrative experience within a QHSE or compliance environment.
- Strong organisational and document control skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with ISO standards is advantageous.
