An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Streetscene Hub, a busy and centralised team providing a single point of contact for Members and town and parish councils in relation to a wide range of Streetscene services. The Hub plays a key role in managing a high volume of incoming enquiries and ensuring that requests, complaints and service issues are effectively triaged and directed to the appropriate operational teams.

The successful candidate will support the efficient coordination of communication between elected Members, parish councils and service areas across Streetscene. The primary focus of this role is the monitoring and management of shared email inboxes, assessing incoming enquiries and determining the most appropriate course of action. This will include acknowledging contact, gathering relevant information, and ensuring requests are logged, prioritised and passed to the correct teams for resolution.

The role requires sound judgement, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities to ensure timely responses. You will liaise with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, helping to ensure consistent, accurate and professional communication. The role also involves tracking the progress of enquiries, maintaining records, and supporting the Hub's aim of providing a responsive, customer focussed service.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, capable of working independently as well as part of a team, and confident in dealing with a wide range of queries. Strong IT skills and excellent communication skills are essential, along with a commitment to delivering high standards of customer care. Working hours and days are negotiable.
