Contract: Permanent

Working days: 25.5 hours per week (Mon/Tues/Wed: 9.00am to 3.30pm, Thurs: 8.30am to 12.30pm, Fri: 8.30am to 12.00pm)

South Cave CE Primary School is looking for a dedicated and experienced School Business Manager to join our team. This vital role supports the Headteacher in three critical areas: Finance, Administration, and Facilities Management. If you are highly organised, excellent with budgets, and passionate about supporting an environment where children can thrive, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Financial Oversight: Monitoring school budgets, overseeing financial processing, and contributing to the annual and three-year financial plans.
• Operational Management: Co-ordinating the school’s administrative function, including HR tasks like payroll and staff support.
• Site and Safety: Supporting the management of the school site and facilities, directing caretaking staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures.
• Team Leadership: Supervising and supporting a small team of administrative and support staff.

Data Protection: Acting as the Data Protection Officer (DPO) and holding specific responsibility for GDPR compliance.
