As our Part-Time Receptionist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for all our visitors. You'll be the face and helpful voice of East Riding Leisure, providing essential administrative support and contributing to the smooth running of our centre.

What you'll be doing:

  • Being the first point of contact for all visitors, both in person and via telephone, providing a warm and professional welcome.
  • Handling enquiries, providing information about our facilities, services, and activities.
  • Managing bookings and taking payments accurately.
  • Assisting with membership enquiries and sign-ups.
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks.
  • Maintaining a tidy and presentable reception area.
  • Assisting the Duty Manager and other team members with various tasks as required.

What we're looking for:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a good telephone manner.
  • Strong customer service skills and a genuine desire to help people.
  • Good organisational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Competent IT skills, including experience with basic computer software.
  • A proactive and can-do attitude.
  • Previous reception or customer service experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
