Invest in your career and build a professional legacy within our well-respected Finance Team. Duties include working closely with the Communities and Environment directorate management team and their directorates to provide finance business partnering services and specialist financial advice and support. You will lead, direct and draw support from a team of eleven accountants and accountancy assistants, reporting to a Finance Business Partner and working as part of a wider team with other Principal Accountants, Finance Business Partners and colleagues in Corporate Finance.
The team has a strong development culture and forms part of the wider finance service which covers budgets of over £1bn. Supporting a community with over 350,000 residents, 600 services and a workforce of over 12,000 staff including over 100 maintained schools, the finance service includes a business partnering team with over 50 team members.
