We are seeking a committed and passionate Placements Officer to join our dedicated team. This pivotal role will focus on commissioning and securing the finest quality placements and be involved in the entirety of the placement finding process. You will join a caring and supportive team and work alongside other workstreams that equally play a crucial supportive role.

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to supporting children and young people from varying backgrounds, with different abilities and challenges, and also be able to multitask and work flexibly in a high-pressured and fast-paced team. We are particularly keen to hear from applicants with relevant experience in an NHS or health service environment, especially those with experience of commissioned services.

The role is covered via a 3 week rolling rota:

  • Week 1 - 8am - 4pm
  • Week 2 - 9am - 5pm
  • Week 3 - 9am - 5/6pm (please note, working after 6pm during week 3 may be required to meet service delivery)
